Trinity House

Trinity House A UK corporation granted its first charter in 1514. It is responsible for lighthouses, aids to navigation maintained by local harbours, and dealing with wrecks that present a hazard to navigation in England and Wales and the Channel Islands. A separate authority, the Northern Lighthouse Board, is responsible for these matters in Scotland and the Isle of Man.
